Christopher Brophy - Financial Manager

 Christopher Brophy is a financial advisor based in Nashville, TN.

A graduate of Texas Christian University’s percussion program, he understands firsthand the challenges of time and resource management educators and artists face. At TCU, he was a member of the Horned Frog Marching Band, Percussion Orchestra, Steel Band, Wind Ensemble, and played in over 20 student recitals, including 2 of his own. While in Texas, Chris was fortunate enough to play with the Lone Star Wind Orchestra, and gig around the DFW area with a number of different country bands. After graduation, he worked with Flower Mound High School and Duncanville High School primarily and was a clinician for various high schools in the area, as well as the University of Texas at Arlington.

Moving to Nashville in 2016, he worked in restaurants for a few years, gaining his Level 1 Sommelier certification through the Court of Master Sommeliers, and ended up running restaurants prior to COVID. When the pandemic hit, he decided to move into a different career where he could continue to have a meaningful impact on people’s lives, but through financial planning, education, and empowerment. He is currently working towards his CFP certification, and excited to be working with The Den Collective!
