Mandee Miller - Fitness Trainer

Mandee found her passion for movement and performance at a young age through both musical theatre and organized sports. Her drive to learn about and share her knowledge of health and wellness was further fueled by her grandmother’s untimely passing from heart complications stemming from many years at an unhealthy bodyweight back in 2003. She began her fitness career in Los Angeles right out of college and found yoga soon afterwards as a vehicle for self-compassion, body awareness, and flexibility. In 2009, Mandee became a certified personal trainer through NPTI. She holds current ACE and AFAA certifications for primary group fitness exercise, Johnny G and Stages certifications for indoor cycling, TRX Suspension Group and Functional Training certifications, as well as a Pilates mat exercise certification through Equinox. In addition to those accreditations, she completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training through Yogaview Chicago as well. Mandee has taught group and private yoga classes in gym and corporate consistently for just over 15 years time and her passion about this line of work knows no bounds!

Today, Mandee is a fitness consultant who owns her own personal training business, Mandee Miller Fitness LLC, coaching one-on-one online clients from all over the United States and the UK. She currently leads a weekly donation-based group fitness class, #MondaysWithMandee on Zoom and produces her own full-length workout video content for her YouTube channel, themandeemiller. You can also find her on social @mandeemillerfitness for health and wellness goodies she finds and posts along the way!

Before COVID, she developed and presented her own formats or mentorship programs for private fitness studios here in LA and led workshops and trainings for corporate wellness programs within the Southern California region. She has also been a large behind-the-scenes part of curating music playlists for various group fitness settings; namely for indoor cycling, barre, and HIIT classes.

Her competence and proficiency across so many fitness modalities, from resistance training to asana to Pilates and TRX affords Mandee a tremendous reach in meeting the needs of all body types, ages and fitness levels. She makes it the highest priority to ensure all bodies are welcome and taken care of during her classes and sessions alike.
