Garrett Mayfield is a percussion educator, arranger, and performer based in San Marcos, TX. Currently he is the Front Ensemble Coordinator at Moe & Gene Johnson High School, Texas State University, and Rhythmic Force Percussion. Garrett was a member of both the Crossmen and Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps and has taught at many award winning programs such as Cedar Ridge High School in Round Rock, Texas. Garrett is steadfast in his mission to elevate the marching percussion activity, specifically in taking the role of the Front Ensemble to a new level both with performance and musicality.
