Steve London is a multi-award winning film composer who studied film composition at the University of Southern California. He scored the powerful documentary, 'Chau, Beyond the Lines' which received a 2016 Oscar Nomination for Best Documentary (Short Subject). He also co-scored 'Born To Be Blue' (the re-imagined Chet Baker bio-pic starring Ethan Hawke) which won the 2017 Canadian Screen Award – Best Original Music for a Feature Film.

COACHING MAY INCLUDE:

- Composition: will focus on scoring for film and television, workflow, composing and thematic development, modern scoring techniques, sound design scoring and much more

- Orchestration/MIDI-stration: will focus on working with live ensembles and and composing with existing sample libraries , such as the Native Instruments Komplete suite

- Music Theory: will focus on an introduction to harmony and counterpoint working our way up to chromatic harmony and modern techniques

- Conducting: will focus on rehearsing and leading live ensembles, conducting for recordings and working with film specific conducting techniques
